An Evening of Purpose and Creativity

On Friday, December 6th, the NowUs Foundation hosted the transformative Vision Board + Business Strategies Workshop in Long Beach. This event marked another milestone in our mission to empower women by providing them with practical tools and a nurturing community to help them turn their aspirations into actionable achievements.

Designed for existing and new members, this workshop combined mindfulness, artistic exploration, and strategic planning to inspire participants to articulate and achieve their business goals. With an agenda brimming with enriching activities, the event underscored the power of vision, strategy, and connection.

A Holistic Approach to Empowerment

The workshop embodied our belief in integrating personal empowerment with professional growth. Participants engaged in:

• Goal Visualization: Clarifying their dreams and translating them into tangible objectives.

• Strategic Business Planning: Creating actionable steps to build and expand their businesses.

• Community Building: Networking and fostering connections within the NowUs community.

• Mindfulness and Creativity: Reconnecting with their inner aspirations through guided exercises and artistic expression.

The Journey of the Evening

The evening began with Yaya sharing her heartfelt cultural traditions and gratitude practices, setting an uplifting and reflective tone for the gathering. Having recently launched a new branch of her business post-EmpowerHer Journey Retreat, her story inspired everyone as she guided the group through grounding rituals. Following this, participants introduced themselves, sharing their stories and creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that resonated with new and returning members.

A lighthearted icebreaker warmed up the room. Marissa led a guided meditation, helping participants connect deeply with their visions and showcasing how visualization plays a key role in her business. Jessica, a participant in the EmpowerHer Journey retreat, shared her entrepreneurial story and launched her business with a heartfelt presentation, crediting NowUs for its pivotal role in her journey. Erika followed with prompts and exercises to clarify participants’ goals, leading into Misi’s artistic vision board activity, where women crafted visual representations of their aspirations using images, affirmations, and symbols.

The night concluded with each woman presenting her vision board and goals for 2025, sharing her dreams with the group. The celebration ended on a joyful note as everyone came together to take fun Instagram boomerang pictures, capturing the energy and excitement of the evening. This vibrant closing left participants inspired and ready to embrace their journeys ahead.

Building Dreams Together

The Vision Board + Business Strategies Workshop was more than an event; it celebrated potential and purpose. Participants were left with tangible tools to manifest their goals, a renewed sense of empowerment, and the support of a vibrant community.

We are especially proud of Jessica, Marissa, and Yaya’s accomplishments, whose entrepreneurial journeys inspire us all. Their successes remind us of the transformative power of support, vision, and determination.
